With the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" coming into full force in April 17, our school has established regulations in accordance with the spirit of the act.
The basic policy set out in the school regulations is as follows, and we will take every possible measure to ensure the appropriate handling of any personal information we obtain.

■Our school will handle the personal information of university applicants, students, pupils, kindergarteners, guardians, faculty and staff appropriately in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and our school regulations.

■In accordance with the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" and the "Guidelines for measures to be taken by business operators to ensure the appropriate handling of personal information of students, etc. at schools," our school has appointed a "Personal Information Protection Manager," "Information System Operations Manager," "Personal Information Work Responsible Person," and "Personal Information Work Officer" as a management organization to clarify the status and responsibilities of information handling.

■The school will establish a committee to prevent the misuse, leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.
■The school will specify the purpose for which personal information will be used.
■When acquiring personal information, the school will notify the individual of the purpose of use.
■When providing personal information to a third party, the school will obtain the prior consent of the individual.
■When an individual requests disclosure of personal data held by the school, the school will notify the individual.
■If an individual files an appeal, the school will review the matter and notify the individual of the results and details of the review.
