(International Students) Student Recruitment Guidelines
To empower individuals
We value the individuality of our students. We help them thrive by bringing out their potential and enhancing their ability to contribute to others. This core strength refers to the foundation of both expertise and the human qualities necessary to carry it out. It is the power to create a future society where joy and gratitude circulate. For whom and for what purpose should one utilize their potential? Bunkyo University aims to be an educational and research institution where people come together to think and challenge themselves.
We cultivate individuals who actively engage with the events happening around them and in society, through three core strengths:
1. The Power to Take the First Step
We inspire students' adventurous spirit with the mindset of 'Let's try it first,' helping them develop the power to take the first step. This strength involves being able to express one’s thoughts on various matters in a personal way and, from there, transforming them into constructive discussions and proactive actions.
2. The Power to Keep Growing
We help students continuously grow, not only in their major but also by expanding their expertise into related fields. The power to keep growing leads graduates to have a broad perspective and flexibility to overcome societal changes and live fulfilling lives.
3. The Power to Contribute to Society
We increase opportunities for students to connect with people outside the university, helping them develop the power to contribute to society. To do this, we create an open university that works closely with administrative bodies, companies, organizations, and local communities, making everyone feel, 'This is such an exciting thing happening here!'
The power to contribute to society is nurtured through a campus always filled with students and people, as well as activities in the local community around Eniwa.
